Since 1880, Tynemouth Sailing Club members have sailed and raced many different types of boat on the Tyne estuary and North Sea, continually developing to the present day. We have a proud heritage, having produced world champion sailors, and staged national and world championships.
New members are always welcome, whether beginners or Olympic standard!
The clubhouse is generally open on Sundays and Wednesday evenings from April to October, which are our main sailing times during the summer season. From November to March the bar is open on Wednesday evenings from 8:30pm.
RYA Sailing lessons are available for adults and children from school year 5
