Tynemouth Sailing club has a number of boats for hire by members. The costs are kept low & cover maintaining the boats.
We have Laser 2000 & Feva 2 person boats along with ILCA (Laser) and Topper 1 person boats. Pictures below show you what they look like in action. ILCA’s have 3 sail sizes – 7, 6 & 4 (representing m2 area) with the smaller sails available for windy days or less experienced sailors & the 2000’s & Toppers can be reefed.
Boats are booked on our Spond site – you need to register your interest in becoming a member. Join the “boat booking group” and each monday (for wednesday) or friday (for sunday) you will see an “event” that you can book / pay for online
