With new motors in place, here are a couple of videos. They show how to flush them for a few minutes after use. This rinses out the salt water and extends the engines’ lives. One change since the videos were filmed: we now have our own blue expanding hose. So, no faffing with connectors; they’re already on the hose.
1st – connect the hose to the engine – DONT RUN THE ENGINE as this flushing means its not cooling the engine
After flushing, disconnect, then DONT FORGET TO RECONNECT THE HOSE on the engine.
