We race on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. We sail casually when conditions are good.&nbsp;Since winter 2019, we have also raced on Sundays in freshwater at Ladyburn Lake. It&#8217;s 40 minutes north of Newcastle, behind the Druridge Bay sand dunes.&nbsp;Along with our regular racing, we hold occasional open meetings. We host national or international fleets of dinghies at these events.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The club is a&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/tynemouthsc.co.uk\/index.php\/about-us-1\/join-tynemouth-sailing-club\/\">membership<\/a> society. We run various courses throughout the year and Sunday morning coaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do get enthusiastic, <a href=\"https:\/\/club.spond.com\/landing\/signup\/tynemouthsailing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">become a member &amp; use Spond in the group,<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All members of Tynemouth sailing club take turns on the safety rota.
