Policy
It is the policy of Tynemouth Sailing Club to establish and maintain it’s facilities, equipment and operating custom and practice to ensure the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of all who use it’s facilities and take part in it’s activities.
Arrangements
Responsibility for implementing Policy shall rest with the General Committee.
Significant risks shall be the subject of suitable written risk assessments detailing the control measures designed to minimise the risks so far as is reasonably practicable. Members shall be made aware of these control measures and encouraged to practise them at all times.
Assessments shall take into account legal requirements, appropriate codes of practise, RYA written guidance and sector best practice.
Documentation shall be held by the Honorary Secretary.
Assessments and documentation pertaining to the Recognised Training Centre shall be the responsibility of the Training Principal.
