Clubhouse Opening Ceremony
The formal opening of the clubhouse following its £100k re-furbishment took place in glorious sunshine on Friday 30th May. The Mayor of North Tyneside council, Norma Redfearn and local MP Alan Campbell were present to say a few words, cut the ribbon and slice the cake. Paul Cook was MC, and he invited Howard Elcock to say a few words on the history of the club and MIke Shipway to say a few words on the re-furbishment project.
